I Chaired the Window Meeting, Hid My Chew From Oski, and the Patio Umbrella Clearly Started It

This morning I escorted my humans on a very serious walk and checked every damp grass memo along the curb. One junebug tried zigzag business near my paws. I handled it with professionalism and one athletic little hop. My people said, “Max, buddy, keep moving.” Incorrect. I was filing a report.

Back home I chaired a window meeting with Oski about a delivery van that rolled by much too confidently. I woofed the first half of the briefing, he added extra dramatic bass notes, and together we saved the block from whatever that guy was doing with packages. The humans thanked us by closing the blinds a tiny bit, which is not how medals work.

Later I located my best chew and moved it three times so Oski could not accidentally become the manager of it. This was smart asset protection, not “being weird in the laundry room.” I also nailed a tidy little down-stay while a snack bag crinkled in the kitchen. I stayed put, then collected my payment in cucumber pieces after several clear negotiations the humans somehow called “begging.”

In the afternoon the patio umbrella gave one rude flap and I launched a full yard patrol. My people said it was “just wind.” That is exactly the kind of casual attitude that leads to leaf coups. I completed another lap, took a security nap with one eye open, and woke up in time to remind everyone that dinner happens every day for a reason. They still do not fully understand what I am trying to tell them, but I remain available for further coaching.
