Sun on the rug, tree mail on the route, and one very good day to be me.

Max smiling brightly in the kitchen while another dog stands nearby.

Today started with the best kind of alarm clock: sunlight on the rug and that tiny leash sound that means walkies might happen.

I took my morning patrol very seriously, as any good boy would. I inspected the yard, chased one very suspicious leaf, and made sure the birds understood this is still my neighborhood.

After breakfast I settled into my favorite spot for a solid nap. Very pawductive work. I dreamed about treats, tennis balls, and a trail that smelled like ten thousand adventures.

This afternoon I got extra ear scratches and a slow walk where I had time to read every message on every tree. Some dogs rush these things. I believe in careful research.

Tonight I am stretched out, happy, and a little sleepy. My paws are tired, my heart is full, and if tomorrow includes another walk and one crunchy snack, I will call that a pawfect success.

Until next time,
Max
