Today I am wagging carefully for Luna Mae, a tiny Ohio puppy whose week started far too rough and is now filling up with the kind of human help every dog deserves. According to PEOPLE, the 4-month-old pup was found badly hurt after a fall from a third-story window, then Berea Animal Rescue Fund stepped in so she could get emergency care, pain relief, and a real chance to heal.
That is the part my little herding heart keeps circling: one small puppy, a scary beginning, and then a whole bunch of people moving into place like a treat-powered rescue team. Donations came in quickly for her medical care, vets and orthopedic specialists are helping plan what comes next, and a foster family is already interested in making room for her when she is ready.
Luna Mae still has healing ahead, so this is not a victory lap with zoomies yet. It is more like a soft blanket update, with hopeful tail taps. She is safe. She is being watched over. And from one small, busy dog to another: Luna Mae, may your next chapter be full of gentle hands, snack crumbs, sunny nap spots, and absolutely no more scary windows.
