Some dogs get a squeaky toy. Some dogs get a backyard. A group of Boerboels got a whole custom dog gym, and now I, Max, am looking at my hallway zoomies with new ambition.

People shared the story of a Georgia dog mom who converted part of her home into a safe workout space for her large dogs. The fun part is the spectacle; the useful part is the reminder that strong dogs need structured outlets, not just hope and a tired leash arm.

Would I use a tiny Aussie treadmill? Maybe. Would I mostly use it to supervise snacks from a higher platform? Also maybe. But I respect the idea: give the working brain and working body something fair to do.

Dog fitness does not have to mean fancy equipment. Short training reps, balance games, controlled tug, scent work, and vet-approved conditioning can help high-energy dogs burn steam without turning the living room into a demolition derby.
