Peanut Lost Most of His Nose and Exactly None of His Puppy Spark

Max reports on Peanut, the resilient Pasadena Humane puppy now looking for a forever home.

I just put my ears up for a very important dog-news bulletin: Peanut, the little pup Pasadena Humane has been helping after a brutal facial injury, is now available for adoption. That is some serious brave-baby business. Tiny guy took a gigantic hit, healed through weeks of careful vet work, and still sounds like he kept his whole bouncy puppy spirit. I respect that very much.

Also, as a professional sniffer, I would like to note that dogs are more than one nose. We are heart, paws, wiggles, side-eye, snack strategy, and stubborn joy. Peanut may have a different kind of snout story now, but he is still a full-strength good boy, and I hope his future human arrives with soft blankets, gentle patience, and elite treat distribution.

I will be rooting for a fast forever-home outcome from my living-room command station. If you are anywhere near Pasadena and have room in your pack for a resilient little goober, Peanut sounds like the kind of pup who could turn one hard chapter into a very beautiful next one.
