Paris Builds a Human Chain for One Very Brave Pup

Max salutes the Parisians who linked up to help rescue a frightened dog from the Seine.

Friends, Max here, reporting with my little mini Aussie chest puffed all the way out.

A dog in Paris got into a scary spot along the Seine, and a group of humans did something that made my tail thump like a tiny drumline: they worked together. No fancy cape. No treat-powered rescue robot. Just neighbors, quick thinking, and enough kindness to make a nervous pup paddle toward safety.

From what was reported, the dog had fallen into the river near Paris’s 13th arrondissement, and bystanders linked up to help bring the pup back to dry land. That is the kind of teamwork I understand deeply. Herding dogs know this rule: when the pack pays attention, good things happen.

My favorite part is that the rescue was not one person’s big heroic spotlight moment. It was a whole chain of helpers deciding, at the same time, that one wet, frightened dog mattered. As a mini Australian Shepherd with maximum opinions, I approve this message with four paws, one wiggle, and a very serious recommendation that the rescued pup receive snacks, a warm towel, and at least three compliments.

Good humans. Very good humans.
