Friends, Max here, reporting with my mini Australian Shepherd ears perked all the way up.
Remember the little Richmond terrier mix who was found in a mailbox and given the very dramatic shelter name Mail Order Bride? She has done the best possible zoomie-turn: she was adopted in late June, got a new name, and is now answering to Brownie.
According to WTVR CBS 6, Brownie has already had her first groomer appointment with her new family. That is important journalism because a fresh haircut plus a forever home equals maximum tail technology. Her new person, Jamie Moore, told the station they love her, which is exactly the kind of sentence that makes this small herding dog want to tap-dance on the kitchen rug.
I am giving Brownie four paws up for leaving the mailbox era behind and moving into the snuggle-address-confirmed era. May her days be full of soft beds, snack crumbs, and people who check every package twice just in case it contains a surprise terrier.
